 '2010 SPRING BENEFIT WEBB-A-THON LIVE FROM BROOKLYN NY'

VETERAN NEW YORK RADIO PERSONALITIES JOIN THE BED-STY VOLUNTEER AMBULANCE CORP TO RAISE FUNDS FOR MEDICAL NEEDS IN HAITI.

BROOKLYN, NEW YORK, (May 10, 2010) - Veteran New York personalities Ken ‘Spider’ Webb, Vaughan Harper and Johnny Allen will join the Bed-Sty Volunteer Ambulance Corp (BSVAC) of Brooklyn New York for a fund raising benefit to raise much needed medical funds for Haiti earthquake victims. The event is a 15-hour Internet Webb-a-Thon web cast beginning Saturday, May 15th, 9am to 12 midnight.  The video web cast can be picked up on the BSVAC web site, www.bsvac.org and donations can be made there as well through Paypal.  The temporary video web cast will originate at the BSVAC headquarters, 727 Greene Ave, Brooklyn, NY

Various community leaders such as Brooklyn Councilman Mr. Al Vann and other residents will appear as well as poets, musicians, singers and entertainers, to encourage viewers and studio guests to donate needed funds.

Throughout the web cast Corps Captain James 'Rocky' Robinson and his staff will demonstrate various life saving techniques and tips on how to give immediate care to the injured.

BSVAC was one of the first responders 'on the ground' after the earthquake and has continued the effort by sending it's Corps members to work aiding the injured there in Haiti. You will see and hear their stories.
